Why invest in Live Musicians?

When I got married, I knew I wanted a Brass Quintet!  At our wedding we had beautiful flowers, hand-made center pieces, wedding pie (instead of cake), a great photographer, and a gorgeous fall day.  It was a picturesque wedding, however, to this day our friends still talk about the music at our wedding ceremony more than anything else.  Our guests had never heard anything like it, and it was the talk of our wedding reception.

I can assure you that investing in live music is worth it. There is an intangible energy created with live music, that connects you to the moment.  In our increasingly digital world, sitting a few feet away from a real musician will not only impress yours guests but also inspire them. It is an experience they will remember far more than anything else.

My colleagues and I in Northside Brass have been practicing our instruments for over 20 years. We have all studied under the best of professionals at some of the most prestigious music schools in the country.  We have invested countless hours and money into our education, pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in music.  We can't go a day without practicing our instruments, and everyday we strive to master our craft at the highest level possible.

Certainly there is a cost associated with live music.  But, compared to your other wedding vendors (flowers, photographer, venue) we are very inexpensive.  Remember that you are paying for an experience, not just services rendered.  I'm sure glad I did, because it was worth every penny!
